Assasion fighting
I know factions has only been out for a few days now but already I'm stumped on how to get around this new enemy in pvp. I might not be seeing something here but every round where I go against an assasion I end up getting sredded by him. The shadow moves that alow them to jump and warp out of the way along with the chain attacks when they get in close seem unbreakable unless you get the first move off. If anyone out there has any ideas of how to stop this new threat then please let me know.

Anything that you were useing vs warriors, really, and some that you weren't useing against anything. I think that Spirit Shackels is quite the effective counter, so is a regular surge/burn energy denial build. Burn them dry then throw Shackels up, and you could probably ruin their day.

Nothing kicks an assassin in the balls like empathy, there is also a necro skill that speeds up a foes attack speed though makes them miss... they will love that .
Sig of Midnight
Ineptitude
Clumsiness
Crippling anguish + Conjure Phantasm + Images of Remorse
Lots of things

Off course, attack speed goes up, more dmg by empathy. Mix it with Price of Failure aaaaannnnd done. Over 60 dmg per swing under a great speed. What I love the most when I fight against them is when they bring Shadow form. They kill themself by one spell.

Basically it's the same strategy as fighting against Frenzy warriors.

I'm sorry, but I've got to comment on this, because I have so much fun picking on Frenzy Wars. XD
When I see Frenzy happen, Inept+Clumsiness+Phantom Pain+Shatter Delusions
Under normal circumstances (and ideal, with timing both Clumsiness and Inept), it does approximately...145+85+Deep Wound+60...a total of 290, without the Deep Wound factored in.
Vs Frenzy, that number becomes...580, without the Deep Wound factored in.
Add in 100 Health taken away there (Deep Wound), and you've just hit that Frenzy War for close to 700 damage.
It's absolutely insane. It would kill a completely healthy Warrior instantly. =D

For me .. i dont care about assassins much ...just got emapthy for them, put it on them each 20 seconds or so, keeping time and more spells to get casters as fast as possible but that may need a monk to keep you up until you get casters
Love backfire + excited spike eles

Hmmm when sins double strike does it trigger skills like empathy and SS twice? If so you could knock of a sizeable chunk of health pretty quickly.
Especially is they use skills to increase hit rate!
